Last weekend saw me photographing Lorraine and John’s wedding. The couple chose to have both the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception in the beautiful setting of Guthrie Castle. I never tire of photographing at Guthrie Castle as there are so many places to get great phictures. The staff are always so helpful and the day is very relaxed.
Lorraine and John wanted a castle setting and a “house party ” atmosphere for their family and friends who had travelled from Europe, America and beyond to be with them. (Some had even come from as far away as Glasgow and Edinburgh).
The weather held for the day and the sun even made a couple of brief appearances. Lorraine was a very chilled out bride and didn’t seem even slightly nervous. She looked stunning as did her 4 lovely bridesmaids.
I do hope you all love the photographs, please feel free to leave a comment or message for Lorraine and John as I know they will be checking the blog from their honeymoon and would love to hear from you.

Louise and Allan Piperdam 30th May 2009
I consider it a real honour to have been asked to photograph Louise and Alan’s wedding.
Allan is a Marine and he has just returned from Afghanistan. He was, quite rightly , very proud to be married in his military uniform. Louise looked beautiful and had done a brilliant job at organizing the wedding. Allan has been away for most of the months leading up to the wedding so it was up to Louise to plan the day. Everything went to plan(except for the music during a hymn!) and she had even ordered one of the sunniest days of the year.
The staff at Piperdam all did a fantastic job to ensure that their day went well.
Please feel free to leave a comment for Louise and Allan as I am sure they would be delighted to read your messages.

Fiona and Mark were married on the 9th of May 2009 at St Margaret’s Church in Broughty Ferry. Despite the rain they were smiles all round and the weather could do nothing to dampen this very special day. A wedding in Scotland isn’t complete without a downpour!
Fiona was fashionably late but she was worth the short wait , she looked stunning.
Thanks to the wonderful chauffeurs from Chauffeurs of Carnoustie who did a great job keeping everyone dry with huge white brollies.
Jenny and her staff at The Woodlands gave their usual first class service and I am sure everyone really enjoyed the reception.

Beck and Jimmy were married in a beautifully relaxed ceremony in the conservatory of the new Landmark Hotel in Dundee.
Beck looked stunning as she walked down the aisle to Jimmy.
Hollie and her team pulled out all the stops to make this such a memorable day. It was my first time photographing a wedding at this newly revamped hotel (formely The Swallow Hotel)

Please feel free to leave a comment for Beck and Jimmy as I am sure they would be delighted to read your messages.
