I have just returned from a hectic couple of days at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre( NEC ) trade show. This is a chance for some of the countries best wedding photographers to get together and bounce some ideas around over a drink and a curry. Well that’s the evenings taken care of ! During the day I was sourcing album suppliers for next year to see if there is anything new to the market that I can offer my customers. The latest cameras and equipment are always on show and its good to replace anything that has been well used during the previous year (it was an expensive trip) I managed to catch a show by one of the countries top wedding photojournalists, Jeff Ascough . He works mainly in black and white and his work was an inspiration.

Emily is an adorable little girl. She came to the studio on saturday morning with her Mum and Dad and both sets of Grandparents.
We took a selection of natural photographs of the whole family and everyone got turn of being photographed with Emily.
I am passionate about photographing children with other members of the family. How many of us have a photograph of ourselves as a baby but how many of us have a professional photograph of ourselves pictured with our parents or Grandparents(or both)?
We treasure the photos of our children now, but our children with treasure the photographs of us in years to come.

I am looking for some really new, new-borns to photograph. By the time that you get organised after a new arrival and get round to thinking about photographs of your little one you have usually missed those first few very special days when they are so new. This really is the best time for those first photographs, during the first 5 weeks.
If you would like to have a free new born session then please get in touch, I only have a very limited number of the sessions available.
I also have 5 “Welcome to the World” packages to donate to Radoi Tay’s children’s charity. These packages include 3 sessions through-out your babies first year and are available at a cost of
£50 for all 3 sessions, the total fee will be donated to Radio Tay
