Jill and Wayne’s Wedding Photographs from Rufflets Country House Hotel

Jill and Wayne wanted their wedding to be extra special and they planned everything beautifully. I don’t quite know how they managed to arrange the sunshine because it had poured down the day before. Jill looked amazing and just glowed with happiness throughout the day. She got her wish to be married in the gardens with a just a short walk over the little bridge to where Wayne was waiting for his bride. The string quartet was a lovely touch. In fact the whole day was filled with lovely little details that complimented the country house theme, from the table plan which Jill made from picture frames to the scented candles, it was all perfect. I have added a few of the many photographs which will be online his week on my main website.

Aberdour Castle Wedding Photography | Shirley-Ann and Patrick

Yesterday I photographed Shirley-Ann and Patrick’s wedding at Aberdour Castle. The lovely couple won their wedding photography as part of a Win A Wedding prize from The Dundee Courier. They are such a great couple and it was a real pleasure to photograph their wedding day.

Aberdour Castle makes a spectacular setting for a wedding ceremony, after some family photographs the couple enjoyed champagne in their bridal car from Chauffeurs of Carnoustie. They hosted their wedding reception at The Bay Hotel.

Ballathie House Wedding | Clair and John

Congratulations to Clair and John and thank-you both so much for asking me to photograph your wedding. You both looked amazing and you were so blessed with the beautiful weather.

Ballathie House is really a very special place to hold your wedding reception, I bet the staff didn’t expect to be serving drinks on the lawn in March.

You certainly picked the right car for the day and it was wonderful to see you arriving at the Kinclaven Church with the hood down. (Chauffeurs of Carnoustie | The Royal)

Congratulations to Lesley and Barry | Craigsanqhar House Hotel |

I was Lesley and Barry’s wedding photographer last year at Craigsanqhar House Hotel near Cupar. I am delighted to say that they have won my blog competition for the most comments on their blogged wedding 2011. It’s great when family and friends take the time to comment on my wedding photographs or send a congratulations message to the bride and groom.

Craigsanqhar is an amazing venue and it was a wonderful wedding. They had put so much effort into making it special and I really enjoyed being part of it. They even managed to book “Eat The Peach” for their wedding band. They are an incredibly popular band and get booked up so quickly.

Jenni from Stucio and Wow florists in Dundee did a brilliant job with all the flowers, they were stunning.

Lesley and barry if you are reading this I will be sending you a framed print as a special reminder of your day. You can choose from any of the photographs that were on my blog. Here’s a chance to see them again, just let me know your favourite one.

Wedding Photographs Maryculter House Hotel Aberdeen | Elaine and Scott

I was at Maryculter House Hotel on Friday to photograph the wedding of Elaine and Scott. It was a beautiful setting for a wonderful couple. Just before two o’clock Elaine arrived in her bridal car accompanied by her very proud Dad.

Wedding Photographs | Westpark

Like every wedding photographer I love nothing better than a good wedding and autumn is a beautiful time of year to get married. In October I photographed the wedding of the lovely Angela and Graeme at Westpark in Dundee. The ceremony took place in the manor house and afterwards we took some photographs in the grounds. I had great fun setting up the large group shot of all the guests and good to get something a little different. It was easy to capture Angela and Graeme smiling as they are both so very happy together.

Wedding Photographs | Kilconquhar Castle | Elaine and Steven

I photographed a great wedding last weekend at Kilconquhar Castle in Fife. Elaine and Steven chose Kilconquhar Castle because they had always wanted to host their wedding in a marquee and Kilconquhar provides a superb setting complete with country house, beautiful grounds and a marquee.

Elaine walked down the aisle to the sound of The Beatles played on the harp. It was a very lovely choice of song and her Father looked terribly proud as he walked her down the aisle to Steven.

After the ceremony everyone was able to have the drinks reception outside and enjoy the mild weather.

Wedding Photographs | Glenfinnan Hotel | Leza and Steven

Today’s wedding was in the very idyllic setting of the church and hotel at Glenfinnan. It was made even more magical by the mist which settled on the surrounding hillsides for most of the day.

Leza and Steven wanted a very relaxed wedding that their friends, family and children could enjoy. The Glenfinnan Hotel was the perfect setting and the church nearby is very picturesque.

Wedding Photography | Atholl Palace Hotel

Louise and Keith were married last Saturday at The Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry. They are a delightful couple and it was a pleasure to photograph their wedding. Louise is one of 5 girls and so it was easy for her to choose her bridesmaids. Her sister Caroline is extremely talented and she made Louise’s wedding dress. It was a beautiful day and we were able to take full advantage of the hotel grounds for the wedding photos.

The Atholl Palace is a stunning setting with a fairytale like quality. Louise looked stunning in her wedding gown, like a medieval princess.
