Wedding Photographs Piperdam Morgan and Mark

Saturday saw me out at Piperdam photographing the wedding of Morgan and Mark. Morgan looked amazing in a beautiful wedding gown supplied from The Bride in Broughty Ferry. Mark looked very handsome in his kilt and the couple’s boys, Kerr and Nairn, were adorable and very well behaved. Well done boys! Morgan and Mark had a large bridal party. A best man, an usher, 2 page boys, 3 bridesmaids and 4 sweet little flower girls.

Wedding Photographs St Monans Fife Catherine and Barry

Fairytales really do come true, at least that’s what it felt like yesterday. Catherine grew up in St Monans in Fife and spent her childhood looking out of her bedroom window at St Monans Historic Kirk dreaming of the day that she would walk down the steep path on her Dad’s arm to be married. She didn’t know then that it would be Barry but she did know that’s where she wanted it to be.

The sun shone down yesterday and it really was the perfect wedding day. Barry and Catherine are such a delightful couple and, although it made my job as a wedding photographer a little more difficult, I was so pleased that they got the sunshine they were hoping for. I don’t know how many times Barry said how beautiful Catherine looked. She was lovely and Barry looked very handsome.

The couple went on to Kilconquhar Estate where they hosted a drinks reception before their wedding breakfast in the Lindsay Suite. Later there was dancing in the marquee. I hope everyone had a wonderful day.

A Quirky Wedding at Kibble Palace and Oran Mor

Lucy and Mike’s wedding felt different and it was brilliantly done. It started late in the day and I suspect ended late at night. Lucy had put so much thought into every little detail. There was punch and bunting and bubbles and fans and vintage tea cups. Quirky little “eat me” and “drink me” signs and lots to keep their guests fed and watered until the dancing started.

They had a girl for a best man, (who made a brilliant speech) and the bridesmaids all wore different coloured dresses. Everything was just that little bit special. They had a hand-fastening ceremony in The Kibble Palace in The Botanic gardens in Glasgow followed by a big party at Oran Mor

Wedding Photographs Scores Hotel St Andrews

On Saturday Cheryl and Greig got married at Hope Park Church in St Andrews. St Andrews is very busy on an August Saturday and they drew quite a crowd. The sun was shinning and the outside of the church was bedecked with colourful flowers.Cheryl looked stunning as she walked down the aisle on her very proud Father’s arm.

We made a very quick visit to the famous Swilken Bridge for a quick photo session and then headed for The Score’s Hotel where their guests were awaiting their arrival.

Wedding Photographs | Rufflets |Rona and Robbie

Rona married Robbie Grieve! I have never seen a groom with a bigger smile on his face than Robbie. He looked so excited as Rona walked down the aisle on her Dad’s arm. (I think Rona was just a little excite too!)

Yesterday’s wedding was at St Margaret’s Church in Barnhill and then on to the fabulous Rufflets in St Andrews.

In true military style they had a Guard of Honour when they left the church before they were driven away in a fantastic open top car, courtesy of Chauffeurs of Carnoustie.

We had a great time taking some wonderful photographs of their family and friends and of the Robbie and Rona before they sat down to hear some brilliantly delivered speeches.

The staff, service and setting at Rufflets is always wonderful but it was especially lovely yesterday as the sun didn’t stop shinning.

Rona and Robbie are such a lovely couple. They have a great bunch of family and friends and the whole wedding was delightful from beginning to end.

I started the day at Rona’s Mum and Dad’s house to photograph the girls getting ready. There was a few nerves from the girls in the morning but mainly just laughs and giggles and some cheesy music on the radio. Emma Kettles did a great job with the girls hair and Hannah made sure their make-up was perfect.

Rona looked just stunning when her Dad saw her for the first time as a bride, it was very emotional.
